What is an agent?

When you're an agent you create your own login and account and you can administrate your own section on the website.

This gives your small shop an instant web presence ... and what's more you can update it any time you want to.

Our basic package is free and gives you the following features:

- List your small shop Free

- Add up to 8 images to your listing Free

- Add a map link showing your shop location Free

 - Make it easier for customers to find you and contact you and find out what times you're open

- Update your page whenever you have a new line, special offer or you want to advertise different opening times, at Christmas and Easter for instance

- you could even set up a Paypal account so that customers can pay their paper bills securely and conveniently

- Get your shop on the web

- Use your website address on your calling card, yellow pages entry, newspaper adverts, headed paper or printed literature and attract new customers

How do I become an agent?

First of all, get yourself a login using the new member sign-up page.

Once you've registered, login using your new details:

Once you're logged in, you can take a look at the price options and decide which is the best your-local-shop.co.uk package for you.

The adminstrator (me!) gives you agent status, and you can then login via the admin screen ...

Once you're logged in as an agent you can start modifying your personal agent information by selecting Edit My Account ...
